Max Brill's Sons, Inc. was still the incarnation of this family company in the December 1935 Luggage & Leather Goods, page 48. The Pilgrimage to Europe was an annual event for US handbag designers before WWII. Most of these trips were taken by luxury liner, and the comings and goings were noted by the industry. The August 1936 issue of Luggage and Leather Goods puts a face to Jenny Handbags, with this picture of Jenny herself! Imported from India, it's availability was not curtailed at this early stage in WWII.
