This firm is producing a number of styles to sell at $5. These are in Domac saddle leather with white saddle stitching on bags of turf, tobacco and black. A range of styles including the shoulder strap type- are shown. These have inside zippers and are attractively stitched in diamond shaped designs. July 1947 Handbags Illustrated, page 53 included this Ritter & Ritter wool felt bag, representing "Beauty on a Budget." Style 7822 wholesaled at $35.65 per dozen and came in red, black, brown, navy, wine and kelly green.  "You can just hear your customer say, "I'll take this one" when you show her this all wool felt dressmaker bag. It comes in a variety of smart Fall colors and is replete with clever detail. Ritter and Ritter" January 1955 Handbags & Accessories, page 45 "Ritter & Ritter has announced a realignment of its sales representation with Buddy Austerlitz covering the Pacific Coast, Lou Junod, the South, Mathew Ritter, New England, Val Wells, New York, Harry V. Ritter, Middle West, and Walter Penner in the New York offices."
