Location March 1930: Location December 1935: A short news item in the March 1930 Hand Bag Modes, page 64, announces Paul Blumenstock, who operated Paulbe at the 29th street address, would represent Vogue Novelty Co VogueNoveltyCo, a Cincinnati manufacturer, in New York. "THE new spring line of the Vogue Novelty Co., Cincinnati, includes the well-known Vogue line of patent leather bags. Many smart novelties, including the "Whippet" model illustrated here, with a handle designed like a racing whippet, are being featured in the new line. The Vogue Novelty Co. recently opened a new office in New York, under the personal direction of Paul Blumenstock, at 3 West 29th street. Here the line is prominently displayed in the center of the hand-bag market. The Vogue line retails at $2.95 and $4.95. Mr. Blumenstock, operating as Paulbe, Inc.PaulbeCo, besides featuring the Vogue line, imports an attractive line of beaded and evening bags to retail from $2.95 to $25."
