Sophisticated leather and reptile bags

A00396: Subtle gray-green faux reptile leather bag, marked “Made in England.” The signs of quality are everywhere and include gracefully curved gold metal handle supports, meticulous edge cording around the body of the bag and beautiful tan suede lining. The interior includes two open pockets, one fitted for lipstick and compact. Slight interior wear with a few pen marks. The back of the bag features a large open pocket. Some surface wear at the bottom corners, otherwise excellent condition. Measures 9 1/2 x 1 3/4 x 7 1/2” with 15 inch handle. SOLD for $65 in 2001

CROSS of ENGLAND 980174: Cross of England medium brown reptile handbag. Clean 50’s styling with gold metal fittings. Fully lined in tan suede with two open and one metal zip pockets. Lining bottom and the area near the hinges shows slight staining and wear. Otherwise, the bag is flawless. Marked "M&R Cross Made in England" with Lion’s head logo. Measures 10 x 2 3/4 x 7 1/2". SOLD for $112 in 2000
