Ladies of the time were encouraged to simultaneously use two handbags, one petite and one immense! This large shopping bag style handbag has one large metal zip pocket and a huge interior fitted bag, with a spring clasp. This inner bag is permanently mounted in the interior of the shopping bag. The lining and the internal handbag are gold lame'. Excellent condition and totally unique! Includes the original Delill tag with style number in original asking price. Measures 12 1/4” x 4 1/2” x 11 1/4” with double 15 inch handles. SOLD for $85 in 2000 The Bag Lady Emporium. ![]() ![]() C00287:A beautifully made Delill Black Leather and Needlepoint handbag. The gently, scalloped front edge detail adds a touch of elegance. The interior is fully lined in spotless, tan suede cloth, with two gold-corded pockets, and one large metal zip pocket. The lining shows some flexure damage at the gussets. (See detail). Slight bottom corner wear, and a tiny scuff at the back corner of the leather covering of the frame.
