What is Capeskin?

Cape is the skin of the South African haired sheep which has a fine close-grained hide. It grazes in herds on the veldts. Its activity tends to make its skin strong and durable enough to be shaved down to make light weight dress gloves, or to be used in heavier weights for street gloves for men and women.
