Petite Zell Fifth Avenue loose powder compact is engraved with a scrolling floral design on its raised lid. The concentric circles around the lid and bottom impart an Art Deco feel. The push button latch opens to a sparkling interior with original signed puff and sifter. The lid-mounted mirror has a beveled edge and shows slight signs of age. Dates c.1930. The exterior shows some lacquer wear on the edges and one scratch on the top monogram escutcheon. Measures 2 3/8 inches in diameter x 1/2 inch thick.
