Shur-Tite was a prominent maker of bags in the 1930s. This snappy little bag is a fine example of their work. The supple Navy leather has a wonderful hand. The gathered body, unique front handle details and unusual shape are enticing. The fine Talon zipper, (known in the day as a slide fastener) opens to a spotless navy taffeta interior with one open pocket. A matching taffeta coin purse (some soiling of the interior here) is permanently fixed to the back interior, just below the "Shur-Tite Made in USA" logo. If you|re a collector with a "G" initial, how can you pass this one up? Measures 9 x 2 x 6 1/2".
