Richard Hudnut "Deauville" Deco Swallow Compact in original presentation case. Patent date 1926. Opens to reveal rouge compact in lid with deco wave pattern embellishment. Frame mounted hinged mirror. Loose powder compartment in the bottom. Original rouge puff, but no powder puff or sifter but does include s powder flannel. Bottom of the presentation case indicates the powder color is "Rachel" and the rouge color "Carmine." Measures 2 1/4" in diameter. Condition is excellent, but for the characteristic tiny flakes in the lid enamel, so frequently found in the enameling of these pieces.
