Imperial Pearly White Rialto bag has a unique cylinder shaped body. A similar bag is illustrated in tortoise on page 37 of Dooner. Numerous fascinating and unexpected features include magnificently curved Oriental style handle, the 5/8" thick scalloped edge lid, reverse and top carved .the thickest lid I|ve ever seen! It|s one gorgeous chunk of lucite!! But my favorite feature is the shape. The ends of the cylindrical body are not cut vertically, but rather diagonally downward, making the bag slightly wider at the top (9 1/2"0 than at the bottom (8 1/2".) Marked "Rialto" on the inner hinge and carries the Rialto button clasp, this one a huge pearly chunk lucite hemisphere. Very slight fogged area on the lower front, visible only in some lights at certain angles. Four hemisphere feet. A real design tour de force! Measure 9 1/2 x 3 7/8 x 4 1/8"."
