Palizzio is not a well know maker of lucite bags, but their reputation as a high fashion maker of bags back to the late 1940s is undisputed. This bag dates to the early 1960s and certainly has a unique look. The gold Presto slide lock opens to an ample open interior with a leather Palizzio label mounted inside. The lucite is translucent and has a lovely glow. Hammered texture hobnails trim the front corner trim. The hinged handle and detailed hardware complete the look. A few surface scratches don|t mar the overall impression. It will be noticed! Measures 8 1/2 x 5 x 4 1/2".
