Outstanding Art Deco Black Leather handbag ca. 1920. The linear detailing of the body of the bag and the silver and black enamel latch trim offsets the embossed floral designs on the envelope flap. The vertically detailed leather back forms a large open pocket (see detail.) The belt style latch closes with a snap that is engraved "Fulco Providence RI."
