Elegant needlepoint handbag is classic with central bird motif in subtle shades of pink blue and several greens on a beige background. The stitches count 20 to the inch, allowing for fine details. There is monogram on the back (see detail,) scrolling enough to read as linear design. The gold metal frame is engraved on the top edge. Both small spherical latches hold a dark green stone. The interior is fully lined in spotless blue-gray satin with two large open pockets. Aside from a few missed stitches, the condition is flawless.
