The magnificent cathedral frame and unusual colors of this Mandalian bag make it especially desirable for any collector. The cream colored enameled background offsets the angular floral design in pink, mauve, turquoise and gold. There are 2 slightly shortened fringes on one end of the bag (see detail.) The silver plate frame is marked "Mandalian Mfg Co" in incised lettering and features fluid floral engraving. There is a single mesh missing under one side of the hinge. One side of the bag shows slight darkening which I feel in soiling, but fear enamel damage with any more vigorous cleaning (see detail.) The bag is unlined. Measures 3 1/4 x 6 1/2" not including fringe or handle.
