Classic Llewellyn tortoise bag perches on 4 half round feet. The shape transforms by complex hemispheres from a rectangular base 4 1/2 x 3 " to a plump round body with twisted lucite rope trim, culminating in a a clear lucite top carved in a berry pattern. A pair of gracefully curved hinged handles completes this contemporary sculpture! Generally excellent condition with some discoloration between the clear lid and the metal hinge and some lid crazing.
