This classic bag is a RARE Lewsid Jewel, top of the line for Llewellyn. A very similar bag is illustrated on pg. 17 lower right of Dooner. The triple scalloped edges, sculptural clasp and stable stance of this bag makes it a collector|s dream! I especially love the way the contours of the double hinged handles echo the shape of the bag itself! The beautifully fit and finished black moire| lining is clean and lovely. The gold printed maker|s mark on the lining is worn and barely legible, but the style is unmistakable. Measures 7 x 5 x 4. Excellent condition."
