An early tortoise Llewellyn bakelite bag with scalloped piecrust edge reverse carved lucite lid. Very slight hinge discoloration is visible through the lid and a small amount of fogging is present on the underside of the lid. This is not unusual and is commonly present in bags with bakelite bodies and lucite lids. Care must be taken in storing these bags to insure moisture doesn’t condense inside the bag. Measures 8 1/2 x 4 1/8 x 5 1/4”.
