Fabulous Art Deco Dresden Mesh bag marked "Germany" in incised letters on he frame. This is a rare geometric example of a Dresden mesh bag. The geometry is accentuated by the outstanding Van Dyke fringe is quintessential Art Deco. The frame latches with a pair of red Bakelite trimmed cylinders. The bag is unlined. There are three tiny gaps on one side of the bag, each missing a single link. The mesh of the areas under the hinges, so commonly damaged in these bags, is in excellent condition. Very slight enamel wear near the latch and hinges. A MUST HAVE for the serious collector. Measures 4 1/2 x 7".
