Simply gorgeous multicolored embossed leather handbag, circa 1930. The textured leather features a magnificent embossed iris panel, identical front and back. The gold and silver metal frame is embellished with a Deco style Chevron pattern. The interior is fully lined in a beautiful apricot taffeta, with two leather edged open pockets and one elastic pocket, somewhat lacking in elasticity. Inside of one of these pockets shows some dark staining, not readily visible. Eighteen inch chain handle. Some plating wear or on the lift up latched tip and 3 tiny leather flaws on the outside, otherwise excellent condition. Measures 10 inches by 1" by 5 inches.
