Uniquely designed fabric and leather pouch bag. The figural printed fabric has a Persian motif in primary colors, outlined in gold (see detail.) The unusual fabric date to the period around the release of Kismet in 1955 and The King & I in 1956. The Triple Corded Loop Handles are sturdily mounted to the body, front and back, by means of a leather oval reinforcement. The interior is fully lined in spotless beige taffeta, fitted with a large open and one metal zip pocket. A matching satin coin purse attaches to the frame with a fine brown cord. Excellent unused condition. Measures 9 x 4 3/4 x 6 1/4".
