A simply elegant embroidered evening bag ca. 1930, stitched in minute chain stitch. Framed in a gorgeous hexagonal gold frame which is embellished in a Greek key design and trimmed along the top in pearls! Identical pattern, front and back. Interior is fully lined in gold faille with a single open pocket. Unmarked, but a beautiful collector|s bag. Some aging and brittleness to the woven faille background fabric would make this a bag better display than for heavy use. 13" metal chain handle. Measures 6 1/4 x 2/4 x 5".
