Extremely rare pink “half-a-loaf” shaped clutch bag by Dorset 5th Avenue. Their merger in 1951 with Rex 5th Avenue formed Dorset-Rex, a well-known maker of Lucite bags. This bag predates the merger. The gold metal stirrup shaped latch lifts to open. The pristine the interior is lined in flesh tone faille with elasticized pockets front and back. The color and pattern of the Lucite are exquisite. They makes this a perfect party bag. Excellent condition inside and out. Measures 8 x 2 x 3 1/2 inches.
