Dorset-Rex lucite and metal basketweave bag in a high profile, rounded contour shape. Fully lined in red faille, it carries the original tag, and open elasticized pockets for compact and lipstick, respectively. Some slight darkening on the bottom of the lining. Latch and "S" closure. On bottom , US patent Number 2486838 dates to 1949. Rich almost maroon tortoise lid and gracefully curved clear rod handle, overdyed in harmonious clear pink. Excellent condition. Measures 8 3/4 x 5 1/2 x 7 1/4".
