Black Vinyl Faux Reptile Double Pouch bag ca 1965 by "Miss Bergdorf, Bergdorf Goodman, 746 Fifth Ave. N.Y." The construction is unique, with identical envelope flap pouches front and back, both lined in pristine black faille. The front and back differ only in the latch trim, one side being a double circle geometric, the other a 2-franc Monaco coin with the profile of Louis II adorning the obverse. The stirrup style handle emerges from the space between the two pouches. The ends of the handle frame a central open pocket, ideal for easy access. Four metal button feet protect the bottom. Slight flexure damage, nearly imperceptible, on the envelope flap, otherwise flawless. Measures 8 x 4 3/4 x 6 1/2".
